‘Dua’, Radikon catalogue number 16, is the continuation of Unua, a four-track various artists release featuring both emerging artists and label veterans. Returning artists include Arude and Radikon co-founder Guzy, while Dua marks the Radikon debut of Holland’s Hollt and Germany’s ALMA (GER).

Hollt’s ‘Halos’ gracefully combines seeming opposites. Relentless staccato basslines and synths are offset with a soothing backdrop of pads and hauntingly introspective vocals. The result is a powerfully throbbing groover drenched in melancholia.

ALMA (GER) have long fascinated us at Radikon with their ability to bring their own distinct note of edge onto the dancefloor. ‘Old Dog New Tricks’ is just that: Raw, unapologetic, profoundly personal and musical, a unique dancefloor smasher that oozes character.
