From the heart of Amsterdam comes Dutch producer Prune Flat's second release on White Widow Records, delivered in a two-part EP titled 'Fathom'. It is no wonder tech house bigwigs such as DJOKO, Rich Pinder, and Dene Anthony have chosen to work along with Prune Flat, as exhibited in 'Batch' with signature deep rolling basslines setting the groundwork as a chorus of colourful synth stabs ping-pong off of each other adding a bit of a deep house flavour to an otherwise banging track. The spoken-word bits are just as much of a head-turner and likely to get a few chuckles too, take a listen for yourself and you will know what I mean! 'Fathom', the title track is just as much of an attention seeker with its acid-tinged synths and wonderfully harmonic lead that nicely pairs with echoing 90's style piano hits, fusing a sense of nostalgia with modern instrumentation.
