Slow Jams 2000 was the third in the series of compilations featuring Mid Tempo tunes and the first in the series that was completely produced, mixed and arranged by Static Plastic.

The release received a warm welcome into the market and was play listed on many radio stations with "I Got So Much Love (Inside)" receiving the most punts followed by "Blast Master's Radio".
