Written by Nah Mean?

Over the past year I've been doing a lot of growing both as a human and musically. I like to think of this EP as a direct reflection of my growth which in return influences my music.

One large overlying theme in my life and my music over the past year has been a redefined and deepened connection to nature. Experiences with plant medicine and a trip to Colombia connected me with native indigenous tribes in the Sierra Nevada's where I discovered I was located in 'the heart of the earth' which led to the name of the EP - Corazon. Translating to heart in Spanish.

My time there gave me the space I needed to conceptualize this EP. I came back with the intention to pair 4 tracks that touch all the musical areas I love and will continue to create in moving forward.

The first track Downward Dog represents my love for deep house and my new found love and passion for yoga.

The second track Go is a jackin' chord heavy deep minimal house groover in collaboration with Pat Keo. It represents the letting go of a lot of energies that were no longer serving me this year.

The third track Break Time, you guessed it, is my journey into experimenting with breaks and I'm quite happy with the outcome. This track represents new beginnings for me.

The fourth track On The Go is an experimental 'leftfield' type track. Containing breaks/electro/house elements it's hard to categorize this one. This one represents the feeling of constant change.
