VERDIG003 | 2011-11-11
Versatile celebrates in 2011 its 15th anniversary.
The record label founded by Gilbert Cohen aka Gilb'r quickly became one of the most endearing label in the French electro / indie scene.
On this occasion, Versatile decides to release a compilation, which, like a teenager, contemplates the golden age of childhood (the classics 'Sunshine People'by Cheek, I:Cube's 'Disco Cubizm (daft Punk Remix)' or also Joakim's 'Fantômes'), gets into present without any complex (from The Big Crunch Theory pop side to the Aladdin new wave, going through contemprory house with Argy or Roots Panorama aka Deetron & Ripperton, indie sound with Zombie Zombie covering John Carpenter, I:Cube venturing into Dubstep field with 'Un Dimanche Sans Fin'...) and into the future with confidence as evidenced by the exclusive tracks 'Satori' by Etienne Jaumet and I:Cube's 'Lucifer En Discothèque'.
