Kiko Records presents: AKANE. 'Acid Rain' EP Akane has been listening to electronic music since she was a teen ager. She was influenced by the dark, pop, and industrail music and by bands such as The Cure , Cocteau Twins, Siouxie and the Banshees, etc. She got to know very well the electronic scene that was appearing in Argentina. By that time, she used to go to underground clubs, where they played the best house music and techno. By 1999, she realized that she wanted to start her career as a DJ and nowadays she became a great international DJ Her international career started in New York, where she played with Dinky at Drinkland and after living there, she moved to Montreal, where she played in the most important raves and spots of that city. She had gigs in diferent countries such as Canada (Montreal, Quebec City), USA (New York, Vermont), Spain (Barcelona Ibiza), Dominican Republic (Santo Domingo, Las Terrenas, Puerto Plata), Uruaguay (Punta del Este, Montevideo), Peru (Lima).
