Hey folks, listen up. For our 48th release our regulars TKNO and Jack Doe prepared a great EP to build perfect tension for upcoming no 50. Two busty original tracks and two superb remixes by the guys whose tracks were released on really significant labels - Dolby D and Tom Hades.
First one called Pain is a nasty groovin' piece of music. Simple and elegant, powerful and abstract at the same time. Percussion job and that glitchy noises in the background will really take you places, while wisely arrangement is there to break dynamics and make you move.
Next up is Enterprise. Classic bumper, these kick drums feel so bouncy. This is one of those energy boosting tracks every DJ should have in his collection especially for those moments where the floor needs just a little bit more shaking to continue as it should. Nice movements and textures, subtle atmospheres and sharp percussions. Marvelous weapon.
Heading on to the remixes and first in line is Tom Hades's remix of Pain. Steadily rising tracks are always welcome in today's techno music, and this one is exactly what you need to announce all the tension. Super dark and really rich we'd say, super full of sounds all over. Atmospheres, percussions, hats, bass lines, you name it. It's all on the right spot here.
Dolby D's adaptation of Enterprise is here for the end. Hang in there 'cause the pressure is strong. Harder but slower version, really effective with those kicks that cause earthquake. Mad atmospheric job and some usual fx sounds to complete the circle. Wise breaks and twists make this one really strong. Really creative use of original samples make this one perfect for the end of this EP.
