For the second release on Romantica Music, the creators Jan Dalvik and Adi Dassler brought musical reinforcement from Berlin. With “1986” Beatamines pays homage to his year of birth, although the name of the release does not reflect on the music: It sounds absolutely like 2019 and incredibly fresh. The track features a very dense production and the structure differs from the usual verse-chorus-verse pattern by drawing an arc of suspense from start to finish. Sascha Cawa is on board as a remixer and provides “1986” with percussive beats and crazy filters, effectively moving the focus away from the mystical character of the track. Jan Dalvik and Adi Dassler kick it up another notch in their remix, leaving only a couple of cornerstones from the original and significantly increasing the tempo. Consequently, the Romantica002 package contains the necessary musical equipment for any time of the night.
