Coventry UK based DJ and producer Alex Cooksley debuts on Piston with the quirky house music sounds of She EP. Alex is a well-known DJ around the UK, he plays many gigs in and around his home town with residencies further afield also. On the production front he is a relative newcomer, but he has already lined up some serious tracks for the floors including this one which we are very excited about. Great to have him on board at Piston.

She Must is a straight up crowd pleasure thanks to a solid groove with a nice thumping kick drum and rhythmic percussion combo. A rumbling bassline dances through the groove effortlessly as simple, stabby keys break through. Subtle, distant vocals add a true club vibe to the sound making this an absolute must have.

She May draws us into a much deeper groove with a focus on warmer chords and mesmerizing vocal snippets. A tight drum section leads the charge providing a fine flowing rhythm to get down to. The bassline really stands out as it moves up and down the keys bringing a fantastic contrast between subby and punchy bass. A real mover this one, a definite must for your crate to keep the party rocking.
