DAOU Records is an independent label founded by acclaimed singer/songwriter, poet, dancer, curator and multi-media artist Vanessa Daou. Launched in 2008 (in conjunction with the release of her seventh solo studio album 'Joe Sent Me'), the imprint serves as the official outpost for the groundbreaking artist's exhilarating and expansive musical output, which explores everything from introspective electronic jazz-pop, dance, experimental IEM, spoken word, downtempo and more.
