Change is the legendary Italo-American soul, funk and disco project created in the early 1980s by Jacques Fred Petrus and Mauro Malavasi, with a line-up that originally included musical giants such as Luther Vandross, Jocelyn Brown and James "Crab" Robinson. Known for timeless classics like The Glow of Love, Paradise and Change of Heart, the band helped shape the sound of sophisticated dance music worldwide.
After a celebrated comeback in 2018 with Love 4 Love, featuring the powerful vocals of Tanya Michelle Smith, Change returned once again in 2025 with the critically acclaimed new album Embrace — a fresh take on their signature style, blending lush arrangements, soulful grooves and modern production while staying true to their roots.
Still produced under the artistic guidance of original creators Mauro Malavasi and Davide Romani, and helmed by Italian producer Stefano Colombo, Change continues to deliver elegant, club-ready soul and disco for today's audience — timeless music for dancefloors and connoisseurs alike.
