Born in New York and now based in Los Angeles, vocalist, songwriter, and recording artist Solara has been a powerful voice in soulful house for over two decades. With a style that blends warmth, emotion, and an undeniable presence, she has earned international respect both as a performer and as co-owner of MoreHouse Records, the boutique label she founded with her husband, producer/DJ Groove Junkies (Evan Landes), in 2002.

From the start, Solara's artistry has helped define the MoreHouse sound. As a recording artist, Solara has been at the forefront of some of MoreHouse's most successful releases. Her debut single with the late spoken word artist Raya Beam "Deeper" became an instant classic and sophomore release "Sunshine" climbed to #1 on DJ Mag's Hype Chart - garnering support from tastemakers around the world. Since then, she has gone on to deliver a string of unforgettable performances on MoreHouse singles that continue to resonate with DJs and dancers alike. Her work on "We Rise"—a socially conscious anthem produced alongside Groove Junkies & Opolopo—hit #1 on Traxsource, connecting deeply with fans during a pivotal moment in time. Other #1 Traxsource original smashes with producers / remixers Groove Junkies, Reelsoul, Munk Julious and Richard Earnshaw that she co-penned and featured her vocals include the introspective "Perception," the dreamy "For Those Who Know," the defiant "I Am." the uplifting "Dialed In" and the radiant "Shine." She also teamed up with legendary producer Grant Nelson on their #1 disco laced dance floor assault "Last Dance" on Grant's Swing City imprint. Each track showcases her ability to channel both power and vulnerability, a combination that makes her voice instantly recognizable. She's also graced the stage at the ultra cool SHE Party in Sydney, Australia, as well as numerous events in her hometown of Los Angeles - including MoreHouse Records 10 Year Anniversary Party @ the world renowned King King and most recently on the main stage at Grand Park's 4th of July Block party in front of 3,500 fans.
