OUTBOXX

Operating from the core of Bristol's 4/4 contingent with releases on iconic labels such as Idle Hands and Futureboogie, Outboxx are one of the city's most recognisable act's whose work adds colour to a tough bassweight staple using the jazz-inflected smokiness and key-driven hooks that defined house music back in the glory days.

As deft at crafting dancefloor bombs like 'Sunshine Mills' and 'The Fade' as weaving slow-burning deep jams like 'Aporia' and electro kicker 'Dolph's Vision', Outboxx's bumper catalogue of peak-time singles have found their way into in the record bag of artists as diverse as Julio Bashmore, Deetron, detroit heavyweight Ryan Elliott and Panorama bar resident Tama Sumo. 2013 saw their knack for dancefloor destruction and underground exploration leading them into new musical territories, delivering their debut self-titled LP to widespread critical fanfare and defining an instantly recognisable sound, bringing together vocalist Naomi Jeremy's dynamic talent with an even broader palette of influences.

Outboxx pay their dues in the only way they feel it should be - digging deep and delivering warm and uplifting DJ sets, as well as through proper live performances alongside vocalist Naomi Jeremy. By weaving Jeremy's smooth vocals amongst Jacob Martin's on-the-fly beat workouts and Matthew Lambert's melodic hardware jams, Outboxx uphold a unique live vibrancy of classic sounding soul, house and boogie, whilst pulling all the stops out of the best contemporary dance music.
