It's time for the return of our Double Decker series, this time featuring the sounds of Deadpeet & The Revelers. This 4 track package comprises 2 originals from each of these hotly selected production talents, both making their NoExcuse debuts.

The release opens with Deadpeet's 'Turn Around', a bouncy underground vibe builder driven by a crisp tambourine and a rhythmic bassline. The track opens out in its transitional stages with some quirky sampling, head bobbing hip-hop sampling and energetic drum fills before laying a smackdown series of drops.

Deadpeet's second track 'House Or Not' again takes on the persona of a minimal-inspired vibe generator. Another track driven by a crisp percussive element this time in the form of shakers and tightened snares, married up perfectly with another clinical bassline. This track has a distinct guitar feel to it with subtle vocal work and more great transitions matched with equally impressive drops.

Time to change decks with The Revelers' first route of the day 'Charleston'. The first thing that will strike you is an 80's inspired underlayer which drives the main body of the track, take that and fuse it with all the characteristics of a strong underground roller and you've got yourself a really unique, refreshing piece of music. This one is sure to stand out on dancefloors due to its sheer levels of identity and nostalgia.

Pulling back into the garage (or any decent open space for that matter) with the closing track, 'The Beat' again draws flavour from a great era of music and brings it together with a rumbling underground sound. Another addictively nostalgic underground banger that is sure to light up more than the odd dancefloor this summer, what a way to end Vol. 5 of our ever-popular series.
