Fret Not EP
Destiny Club Mix, Destiny Dub Mix, Fret Not Tribal Mix and Fret Not Latin Mix
Written and produced by SoulFunktion (Brian 'Keys' Tharme and DJ Wally)
This is the first release by Brian 'Keys' Tharme and DJ Wally after the launch of their SoulFunktion collaboration. The Fret Not EP is the first to be presented from a full release schedule for A Deeper Groove Recordings through Summer and Autumn 2012
Destiny is a jazzy, soulful house groove with slamming beats and a sweet discordant synth melody which plays out over a simple, but effective, vocal sample. A big mid-section drop and a summery happy vibe make this a dance floor filler for Summer 2012.
A deeper and more driving Dub Mix taking elements from the main club mix provides a complimentary alternative with dubby repetitive delayed vocals and a huge intro drop that builds up to a fat driving bass line and drums section.
Fret Not has a full on tribal house feel to it and has a big room main Ribal Mix and Latin Mix version too.
Both come with a repetitive spacy female vocal and big percussion loops, and shows the harder and more out and out house style that the SoulFunktion Production boys can produce alongside the more soulful tracks.
Big deep tribal and latin beats, with the customary drops drive these track from start to finish.
