The cross-dressing member of San Francisco’s legendary Hardkiss trio debut on Classic is a bit of a classic. It’s a simple as hell, hard as nails electro hump groove underpinned with electronic squirts, belches and subtly effective touches like the whiplash followed by a barely-audible ‘ooh’ which runs throughout. It’s dirty, sexy, goes on for ages without a drop and is completed by vocodered, Prince style vocals. The remix comes from Q-Burns, whose Abstract Message is stripped down house with much deeper textures and gets all wobbly and bassy.
