For Deep Site release 48 we welcome back Deep Site Space honcho Terry Vernixx with two brand new originals plus remixes. “Sunset City” is a sublime beach anthem utilizing deep Rhodes chords, organ phrases, grand piano triads, and a funky jazz break. Damien Exton’s Remix reimagines the track with a Chicago edge by pushing the soulful elements forward while adding depth to the melodic elements. Treta Vadio's Jazz Mix recapitulates the jazz break and keyboard foundations of the original while adding percussive elements and floating chords. Terry’s final original, “It’s For You” is a Breakbeat/Deep House fusion employing an electric piano riff coupled with a synth stab wrapped around a funk bassline.
