'Funk On You' is what non-commercial dance music artists and labels should strive for, an album that does not contain one filler track and touches different styles of the genre. This collection, although electro-leaning, sprinkles in touches of Disco, Rock, House, 80s, and even Freestyle. It makes for a listenable hour or so without ever becoming predictable or monotonous - much like pop or underground dance.
