Forgot 001, is a four-track compilation, and is the debut release on the label.
The EP spans many genres and draws influence from house, disco, hip-hop, jazz, funk and soul. The array of sounds and variety of production styles blend effectively and, whilst each track is unique in its own right, the compilation as a whole truly represents a sound we hope to promote.
Forgot resident Hoffy opens the EP with Makei Klap; a mid-tempo, jazz infused cut with an infectious piano loop and shuffling kicks. Brownswood Recordings affiliate Ratomagoson takes the tempo down with Diesel Pump, a bass heavy, hip-hop oriented track, cleverly flipping a well-known vocal sample to great effect. The B-side introduces a deeper element; David's Vocal from second Forgot resident Joe S fuses fizzy low-end synths, heavy hitting kick drums and loose, wandering melodies. The final track, It Just Makes, is the heaviest offering from the release. Pila combines an effective, rolling bass line, creative hi-hat patterns and a cleverly chosen vocal sample.

"Hoffy is ridiculous. Played it at almost every gig this summer. It blew the roof off at the Southern Soul Festival at peaktime, and is a Jazz Cafe Friday night staple. Can't wait for the next one!" - Dom Servini (Wah Wah 45s)
"Stellar release without boundaries, brings together so many styles and influences. I instantly fell in love with it!" - Renegades of Jazz (Agogo Records)
"Really enjoying the Hoffy track, but the Ratomagoson track is strong too. Interesting and deep, a quality debut release." - Adam Scrimshire (Albert's Favourites)
"Wow wow!! Just my cup of tea! Excellent release, so good to hear something so fresh for the summer. Thanks." - Stefanescu Cristian (Electric Brother)
"I absolutely loved this EP, each track really hit the mark for me and it makes for a nice listen as one piece." - Leo Mallon (Jaheire)
"Totally feeling all four tracks and will definitely be featuring on my Solar Radio shows" - Steve Johns (Solar Radio)
"The serious soundtrack to summer. 9/10." - Mike Stukes (WHcR 90.3 FM)
"Makei clap sounds great!" - Dusty (Jazz & Milk)
