November 1993 a young upstart called Desy Balmer released the first record in Nice & Nasty - Bolivian Angel by Ubiquity. In 2009 Nice & Nasty will reach its 15th piece of vinyl and get close to its 50th online release. Working with artists such as Derek Carr, Marco Bernardi, Nasty Bobby, Vakama, The Parallel, Terrence Dixon, Chymera, Mark O'Sullivan and more has brought this independent label to the hearts of minds of music lovers all over the world.

Born in Belfast and raised in Dublin, Nice & Nasty, remains a tour de force of Irish electronica and continues to act as a platform of expression for new artists and established acts alike. Dedicated to techno and house with a true DIY ethic and punk attitude, 15 represents the past, present and future of Nice & Nasty.
