Italian producer Grijo makes his label debut with an eclectic ep of percussive grooves and abstract sounds. The Milan-based artist has previously released on Get Physical, Tuccillo's Unblock Music and has remixed Edith and James Dexter among others. Wrong Latitude EP pushes the boundaries between deep, afro & tech house and is a welcome change to the formulaic approach all-to-common in today's electronic music.

Grijo -- a self-described music lover -- draws his influences from classic house, 1950s film soundtracks and iconic artists like Clyde Stubblefield & Manu Djbango. His diverse debut ep moves from the deeper sounds of the title track and afro house influenced Zancle, to the tougher acid vibes of Phono Deep and the off-beat Exp #13. Just as comfortable in the big room as the back room, this EP has something for every mood.

The Italian producer may not have a lengthy discography but his work has already landed some major support, including releases on Get Physical (founded by M.A.N.D.Y., DJ T & Booka Shade), Unblock Music from fellow Italian Tuccillo, Housebeat Records and Fluctus Soul.
