Terra Null Recordings proudly presents its sixteenth release, “She” EP, from LA-based Jason Snell, aka Bombardier. Normally known for his work in the industrial-techno and ambient realms, here we see Bombardier really stretch his creative capabilities in breakbeats that are as beautiful as they are technically precise. Expanding outward across a wide-range of BPMs, the five tracks presented in the EP run the gamut between the heavy hitting sound-design contained in tracks like “She” and “Fallout”, and the emotional depth of tracks like “Hypnotic” and “Time Lost”. Rounding out the EP is a remix from Berlin resident Deadfader, who’s take on the title track “She” blasts forward with such force and unrelenting experimentalism that it begins to redefine what is possible in a “remix”. Despite this wide range of styles, the EP carries with itself a profound sense of cohesion and clarity, and we at Terra Null are immensely proud of the collection.
