Terra Null Recordings proudly presents its eighth release, a sprawling four-track EP which firmly cements experimentation as a cornerstone of the label. "Daggers" EP is written, arranged and produced by Buffalo native Mark Valkwitch aka Mark Kloud, a veteran of the American electronic scene and founder of his own imprint Ground Mass Music. His familiarity with various tempos and percussion patterns yields one of the most unique sounds we at Terra Null have ever had the pleasure of working with. The coupling of percussive militancy exemplified by tracks like "Daggers" and "It's Over" compliments very well the airy sprawling experimentation of tracks like "Sea of Stars" and "Drift Wood". With such impressive percussion as a back-drop, skillfully crafted bass and pads permeate in and out of each track with confidence, making the EP a very complete and immersive experience.
