New slamming, melodic and acidic techno from Australian producer Lateral on his debut for Darknet. Lateral brings in the 'Traverse EP' with 4 original compositions and a remix by Arithmik & Jacopo Rosi

The title track 'Traverse' is a hypnotic, four to the floor driven track with a swelling acid stab that floats along for the length of the composition. The following 3 originals comprise varying edits of 'Serac'. The (Original Mix) being a more subtractive synthesis type lead, backed up by more 4/4 driven bass and percussion. (Acid Mix) takes the track, and of course, turns it acid, then (Lateral's Broken Edit) shows a more experimental approach to the groove, adding some background undertones, and spacey type elements, keeping in touch with the acidic side of the Acid Mix.

Finally, we have the Arithmik & Jacopo Rosi Remix of 'Traverse', which strips back the original composition without losing too much impact. A perfect piece to wrap up the whole EP with their touch and style of techno.
