With ears still ringing and sunburn still peeling from this year's successful Miami WMC, Milk 'n' 2 Sugars now return to London and continue their all-out assault on dancefloors worldwide!
The London-based crew have been scouring their vaults and have come up with not one, not two, but THREE previously un-released remixes of classic MN2S tunes, certain to become mainstays in DJ boxes following their release on 2nd April!
Toolroom Records chief Mark Knight and Dutchman MTV once again link with renowned vocalist E-Man for another huge remix of 'A New Reality', Liquid Peoples' Danism Project demonstrate their production prowess with an 'Afterdark Mix' of their recent club favourite 'Kooper's Troopers', while New York's Jon Cutler and Michael Watford's House anthem 'Watcha Gonna Do' is given new life through a quality Dub Mix by rising British producer Soulworks. That's three tracks, three club favourites, culminating in an essential MN2S release!
'A New Reality' remains a firm favourite with House Heads two years after its original release on MN2S's sister label 1Trax. Recent remixes by Front Room Recordings' Jesse Rose, emerging Danish producer John Dahlback, the Lab Rats' Warren Clarke and Soularis have pushed this monster track into 'classic' territory and now, with featured vocalist E-Man getting busy in the studio and turning in his own Deep Dub, the sky is the limit! E-Man's Dub is, as it suggests, deep, down and bumpy, demonstrating the multi-talents of this celebrated Artist. With E-Man's seminal spoken-word vocal drifting in and out almost hypnotically, this one is strictly for late nights!
Liquid Peoples' Danism Project meanwhile show no sign of slowing down in 2007. Still flying high on the back of their 2007 Miami WMC anthem - the MN2S-released 'One Life' featuring Lisa Millett - Dan Liquid, Conan Liquid and Dan Nu:Tone now deliver a tough 'Afterdark Mix' of their critically-acclaimed single 'Kooper's Troopers', released late last year on MN2S. The original has been hammered by everyone from Tony Humphries to Joey Negro and this latest mix, complete with tough acid bassline, is sure to follow suit!
Rounding off this new MN2S package is Ben Smethurst, better known as soulful house producer Soulworks. Ben is no stranger to the MN2S stable either, having completed remixes for Brent Laurence's 2004 MN2S release 'Your Eyes' and, last year, a huge remix of Timmy Vegas and Barbara Tucker's Miami and Ibiza anthem 'Dutty Funk (We Can Do)'. His remix of 'Watcha Gonna Do' is a smooth, bumpy affair with a wicked saxophone solo and deep, melodic bass that works well with Michael Watford's beautiful vocals.
Don't miss this eclectic collection of fresh 2007 takes on three MN2S classics; get the 'Unreleased EP' ahead of the rest before its release on the 2nd April!
