Roman Prus from Ukraine has a rich and fruitful selection of tracks here to share with you for the release of his 'Lunar Hook EP'.

Beginning with the upbeat 'Lunar Hook', deep pads and more conventional chopping techniques are utilised alongside a shuffly groove and enigmatic FX. 'Castillo' sets a new tone with nice phrases and perky percussion loops, resting on a deep, pulsing groove complimented by dreamy synth layers and sharp melodic stabs. The mellow, chilled ' Delight', silky pads and hypnotic percussion send you drifting away into bliss as the pitched vocal samples and stretched sighs develop and fly across the stereo field with classy, well-formed arpeggios and a lazy sliding modulated bassline. Taking things into more typical progressive territory is the melancholic 'Paragon' with square, four to the floor rhythms paired with tranquil Spanish guitar melodies and a delicious, ringing arp sequence.
