Constant Target EP

JSSL, Juan Sanchez

FORMAT Records
FR004 | 2015-04-06
FORMAT Records returns with four slices of uncompromising techno courtesy of label founder JSSL (aka Juan Sanchez), including a remix from PoleGroup associate Kwartz…

Much like its three predecessors, the fourth FORMAT release is carved out of stripped beats, stained bass textures and a great deal of dark atmospherics that take the sound of techno back to its very foundations. JSSL delivers the goods across three morbidly obese cuts: ‘Constant Target’ and ‘Bias’ both are very effective bombs that will separate the men from the boys during peak time clubbing hours, while the slightly deeper ‘Frames’ has already been on regular play at a certain place called ‘Berghain’. Expect things to get messy when these bombs hit the floor…
Popping up for remix duties is Madrid based Kwartz, whose been a regular contributor to the coveted PoleGroup techno institute. His excellent remix -a merciless whirlwind of percussion and bass- is sure to take no prisoners…
Technoheads take notice: FORMAT Records’ new offspring is another volatile techno affair that leaves very little to wish for.
