Always looking to add new artists and music to a start-studded roster, Particles newcomers, Memo Insua and Damian Uzabiaga are no strangers to the underground dance community. Now the Meixcan duo join forces for their debut original EP in the shape of "Between the Lines".

An established named within the dance music industry, Memo Insua witnessed a tipping point in 2010 via the formation of his Union Jack Records. A man who had already travelled the globe, from the UK and Gibraltar to Mexico and Panama, performances behind the decks laid the foundations for a successful production and label management career to follow. Union Jack's debut release saw inclusion on Timo Maas' "Balance 017" compilation while Insua's own production career has seen a raft of releases on the likes of Stranjjur, Sudbeat and Ricky Ryan's Sick Watona and Avangardia imprints.

Fellow countryman, Damian Uzabiaga, has had a similarly impressive career path laid out before him. Almost a century of production credits can be found next to Uzabiaga's name as Raccoon Records, Recovery Tech and Four Peas Recordings have played host to the Mexican's talents. Furthermore, the upbeat vocal track, "Life Isn't Like That" found its way on to the renowned Hed Kandi label courtesy of their 2012 "Deep House" compilation. A regular on Memo Insua's Union Jack, February 2016's "Runway" EP saw significant success as the release climbed the Beatport deep house charts.

Joining forces once more after 2015's remix of Kosmas' "Intentions" for Union Jack, Memo Insua and Damian Uzabiaga now debut on Particles with the deep vibes of "Between the Lines". The title track itself is a sultry offering, fully of emotive chord progressions and elegant melodic prowess. A low-slung groove makes its presence felt via bass pattern and lilting hi-hat percussive cadence while a strong beat adds further weight to a delightful track.

Partner track, "Planetary Anatomy" immediately makes its presence felt through complex and intricate percussion as rhythmic urgency is brought to the fore via swung shakers and hats. Employing similar melodic majesty to its partner track, a rich canopy of pads and lead line lie enticingly atop lower frequency bass line and beat in a work that mesmerises with hypnotic prowess, bristling with production ingenuity to create an impressive work.

Reading "Between the Lines", it is clear that Memo Insua and Damian Uzabiaga have hit upon a winning formula through their combined talents.
