We are honoured to present the Milan-based duo Carol consisting of Damian and Fedex. Fedex has been collecting records and dj-ing since the age of 15 when the Italian club and rave scene was about to explode. After many years of dj-ing and producing music in Italy and Germany he found his home in Milan by joining the Cockette Party Crew where he expressed his musical versatility and love for dancefloor shaking. Damian started out in London's late 90's electroclash scene with the cult electro band 'Damian and the Puzzy France' and later on approached techno and house as a promoter and dj.

Damian and Fedex found it natural to join forces when they first met, sharing their passion for clubbing, vinyl, italo disco, beards, lipsticks, acid house and analogue synthesizers. Carol are now working on their debut album while releasing several remixes and bringing their live act to bear the underground scene.

The EP kicks off with Body (Original version), a deep dark groover that intensifies as it slowly builds with filtered stabs, distinct hooks and a sturdy bassline around its crisp and punchy beats. Next up is the dirty, stripped down and hypnotizing remix by Alien Alien, the shadowy side project of Hugo Sanches and Rodion (Gomma, Eskimo). On the flip side you get the late night floor packer Body (My Mess Mix). Atmospheric pads, strings and texture on top of the driving beat and its growling bass will definitely please the decadent clubbing crowd. The EP ends nicely with a comfortable and smooth dub version.
