Its been a resurgent eighteen months for Anton Pieete. The Dutchman first unveiled 'Culture / Cotton', a release that signalled a new period of experimentation. Creating magic through his synthesisers and drum machines, Anton presented a mature, raw and modern techno sound. This Summer saw the release of the critically acclaimed 'The News', an eight track selection that took Anton's sound to the furthest reaches of the underground and drew knowing recognition from industry heads. Anton rounds out the year with Galician and again brings his Detroit-Chicago-Dutch melting pot to the boil. The creepy, hypnotic tone of the title track is backed by the impressive Jupiter Blue, with its spritely melody and psychedelic sounds.A truly superb double-header in a sequence of impressive releases from Anton.
