Next up for GCR, an EP straight from the downtown banks of the Charles River in Boston, MA, by a group of artists whose work has been transformative in a local scene that is drawing more and more attention. John Barera, Audioprophecy, and Anton M. have readily become a part of the GCR family with their frequent gigging in our hometown of Brooklyn. Delivering dance floor ready tunes as individuals for quite some time, the three collaborate on 'Nation' to bring you our second release. The resulting GCR002 shows that as a whole they are even greater than the sum of their parts.

Nation's title track shoots us back to the 90s with a lively vibe and some major chords to drive a groove that blossoms throughout. A dub mix from River & Phoenix takes Nation one step deeper with lush pads and moving synth driven harmony. The other original track 'Why, Why' follows suit, and after one listen you'll see why we "can't get it out our minds." Homegrown artist trio Script the Flip finish the EP with a potent dub mix of 'Why, Why' weaving a touch of acid through swaying bass and a reimagined synth melody.
