Rafa Barrios brings his trademarked sound to Tronic once again and "Astral" is a prime example of his skills behind the proverbial knobs and buttons, with his rumbling bass and steamrolling rhythm section. All of this, of course, provides the perfect backdrop for the stars of the show, which are none other than mutated old-school synths used in a completely unique way and taking control of the whole track.
On "Cara Dura" the gears are pulled back, letting a sticky bassline drive things forward until mighty chord stabs make their appearance, lead to a post-apocalyptic breakdown and then proceed to transform the affair into a loopy masterpiece.
