Hot Lipps Records is pleased to present their 11th instalment which features two primo tracks written and produced by label owners, Peter & Steve Primiani aka Hot Lipps Inc., formerly of 83 West Records and Camouflage Recordings.
'Salted Wounds' is the first track and it's bumping, deep and a bit tech all at the same time. The track has some bouncy warmth with soft pads and a bass line which at the 3:10 mark changes up to a M1 style organ bass line to lift the energy a bit more. Munich producer, DJ Linus, lends his superb skills to the EP with a monster of a remix. His interpretation is more of a tech-house chugger that incorporates many of the original track's elements. It perfectly bridges the gap between house and techno with its's percussion and intense peak-hour energy.
'The Night Move' is the second track and Hot Lipps Inc. flex their production skills with a funky and deep house vibe that all builds up to a simplistic and effective drop at the track's mid-way point.
