Summer may be long gone for most of you (though it's right around the corner for our friends way down south) but here in Florida the skies are clear and the temperature is just right. Thus we've been inspired to re-release Orlando rapper Swamburger's 2003 track Sun-Vibes in the form of previously vinyl only remixes by All Good Funk Alliance and brand new versions by Beef Wellington. Turn up the boombox and light up the barbecue no matter where you are ... these vibes are definitely hot.

Buzz-building duo All Good Funk Alliance previously unleashed their Sun-Vibes remixes on a limited 12 pressing on Eighth Dimension but this is the first time these club-worthy cuts have had a full digital release. The electric combination of live stand-up bass, block party beats, and Swamburger's infectious chorus already were staples in the sets of Jazzanova, DJ Spinna, Mr. Scruff, and Q-Burns Abstract Message. This digital release aims to spread the good times to DJs everywhere.

Frequent Swamburger collaborator Beef Wellington re-appears for one of his first productions since the critically acclaimed Feel Fantabulous album. Beef Wellington's remix is a laid-back and smoked out affair, heavy on the bassline and head-nodding rhythms and featuring some sublime funky guitar plucks. This remix has also been given a little bit of re-edit magic by Sleazy McQueen to make it a bulls-eye for the more discerning dancefloor.

You may know Swamburger from his collaborations with Q-Burns Abstract Message on the Invisible Airline album, All Good Funk Alliance on the Social Comment LP, and his non-stop touring with Epitaph/Anti- hip hop group Sol.Illaquists Of Sound. These remixes of Sun-Vibes welcome Swam's talent back to Eighth Dimension ... stay tuned for future Swamburger & Beef Wellington team-ups at the start of the new year.
