Following up from his recent album on Unspace, Research Code returns for a split EP with label boss Coefficient.

TRAPPIST-1 by Research Code is a sci-fi inspired techno track featuring fractured pads and ethereal cinematic strings, building energy and emotion. Crisp 909 percussion and a punishing kick drum accelerate the groove with intensity. The Targeting Mix also by Research Code retains the same pads and tones but adds a more intense offbeat kick pattern, with waves of textures and granular noise.

The Coefficient remix of TRAPPIST-1 strips down the original and adds deep analog bleeps and high pitched sequenced synths while maintaining the vibe and groove. The pads are frequency shifted in tone and timbre for a hypnotic and psychedelic effect.

Planetfall by Coefficient completes the EP with a solid looped techno drum groove. Overdriven bass and a bell-like lead synth create intensity and focused momentum, while atmospheric effects create depth and space.
