The latest EP on Unspace by Coefficient explores the detection and discovery of alien lifeforms on another world.

The title track Detection features spatial effects and rising synth notes, which create a constantly evolving dancefloor cut. Solid bass and a 4x4 kick are the backbone, while synthetic tones and textures evoke a visceral feeling.

Emergence and Existence pushes further into sonic and ethereal territories. A bubbly analog bass synth and simple stuttered kick complement tight percussive elements creating the groove, while evolving eerie tones and abstract sonics create the mood.

Folded Membranes with its weird detuning synths, create a tense and suspenseful atmosphere, while metallic effects and glitchy noises, ebb and flow over the tight drum programming.

Finally Mysterious Beings From Space is minimal and deep, inspired by classic science fiction B-movies. The track features crackly tape noise and choppy high hats to create alien movements, warping and folding into new abstract shapes.
