Connected marks the final single from Waterford artist 3rd Degree, released via My.Co Records. Following a run of well-received tracks from the forthcoming album — many of which topped charts on both Juno and Bandcamp — this fourth single feels like 3rd Degree has saved some of his finest work for last.

The track offers a vivid glimpse into the songwriter's more expressive, narrative-driven side. It's the most lyrically dense release so far and one of the album's deeper, more introspective moments, showcasing the range and stylistic diversity the full project promises.

Opening with snappy drums and a dark, driving synth bassline, Connected soon reveals a more euphoric edge through a beautifully arranged string section that elevates the track throughout. Returning collaborator Micko Roche once again contributes atmospheric guitar work, weaving through the production with a flair reminiscent of early Portishead or Massive Attack.

At the forefront are 3rd Degree's smooth yet raw vocals — warm, resonant, and loaded with emotional weight — exploring themes of love, unity, and our bond with nature. Smart synth work and electric textures orbit the vocal and string arrangements, merging with the low-end groove to bring the track to a powerful close.
