Sakura Tsuruta is a Tokyo-based artist who mixes up dreamy melodies with potent, experimental grooves. Her 2019 debut on Bardo Records broke into Beatport's Top 100, and since then, she has dropped her acclaimed 'Made of Air' EP and two well-received full-lengths on Mule Musiq and all my thoughts. Tsuruta is also an educator who works with international universities and conservatories and an activist who champions gender equality and nurtures young artists globally.
