This is the first single from Pukllay, Mente Organica´s new studio album on Fértil Discos. This record marks a turning point: after a long period immersed in electronic textures and machine-driven beats, the artist felt the need to return to a fresh, organic, and deeply human sound.
With compositions developed over several years, Pukllay was born from an uncontrollable creative impulse — a musical purge in which Mente Orgánica sat down to play without restraint, surrounded by instruments and with no sense of time. The result is an album that breathes freedom and spontaneity, shaped by acoustic timbres: ronroco, charango, guitars, acoustic piano, double bass, bombo legüero, unquantized drums, and touches of Moog synthesizer.
In Alba, the track that opens the album, the charango — with its sweet harmonies — invites an optimistic and energetic start to the day, like a joyful walk as people prepare for the day's work in the countryside and the mountains, ready to embark on a journey filled with love and wisdom.
