'Lost' is a new, more guitar-driven, 'live, indie' sound from The Lightning Kids. With live drums and heavier guitars, there is a rockier sound, mixed with the synthesisers that drenched the early singles. Emma's breathy vocals telling a story that mixes melancholy lyrics of heartbreak and longing with a the sound of Americana, influenced by Bruce Springsteen and The Killer.
