The Lightning Kids return with their new single 'Radio' on Friday 11th July on Aztec Records.

'Radio' is the new single, taken from the upcoming album 'Love On The Edge Of Desire' and is the first new music released since 2024's singles 'Desire' and 'I Don't Want To Go' (with Kidburn).

Following the success of their debut album 'All Of Those Nights' and remix album 'FM' which saw The Lightning Kids hit over 15m streams and over 22m views across social media, The Lightning Kids return with their unique blend of nostalgic-modern synthwave, Indie and Pop.

'Radio' is a new, more guitar-driven sound by The Lightning Kids, whilst still feeling familiar and nostalgic. With live drums and heavier guitars, there is a rockier sound, mixed with the synthesisers that drenched the early singles. Emma's breathy vocals tell a story of finding comfort in the music of her youth, whilst heartbroken by a romance gone bad.
