Rainy Spirits E.P is the powerful solo debut from South African producer and DJ Vertic, known for his work as one half of the acclaimed duo Deep Narratives. With this release, Vertic steps into his own creative path, crafting music that is both a spiritual offering and a sonic journey.

The EP features two Afro House tracks that blend tribal percussion, ethereal vocal textures, and electronic depth. The title track, Rainy Spirits, is a heartfelt tribute to Vertic’s grandparents, a sonic thank you letter to the ancestors who first inspired his connection to music. The track is warm, hypnotic, and deeply intentional, already receiving early support from international tastemakers including Martin Garrix, Black Coffee, Enoo Napa, Da Capo, and Caiiro.

On the B-side, Never Land takes a more energetic, dancefloor-driven approach. With layered synths, Afrocentric chants, and a haunting call Vertic describes as “the god’s language,” the track invites listeners into a transcendent space where rhythm becomes ritual.
