'Price' is the debut album from Cleveland producer Sound On Tape. The album further cements his emotive electronic sound and touches on elements of Garage, Jazz, and RnB with an ethereal element not present in most dance music today. Rooted in Black-American storytelling and cultural history, Price explores a rarely acknowledged shift: Black people, once commodified as products, are now the buyers. This album interrogates the psychology behind materialism.
