Melba Moore, born in 1945 in New York City, is a Tony Award-winning singer and actress known for her four-octave vocal range and impact across R&B, soul, disco, and musical theater. She made Broadway history in Hair, won a Tony for Purlie, and later enjoyed chart success with hits like "Love's Comin' at Ya." Despite setbacks, she returned strong with gospel music and theater in the '90s. With four Grammy nominations and a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2023, Moore remains a powerful force in American entertainment.



Terry Hunter is a celebrated, Grammy-nominated DJ and producer from Chicago, revered as one of the pivotal figures in House music. With a career spanning decades, Terry has built a reputation for blending soulful grooves with infectious beats, creating timeless tracks resonating worldwide. As a critical ambassador of Chicago House, he has worked with many iconic artists, including Chaka Khan, Mariah Carey, and Beyoncé, seamlessly bridging the gap between classic soul and modern dance music. Known for his dynamic DJ sets and masterful remixes, Terry is the founder of labels Mirror Ball Recordings, T's Box & T's Crates and a driving force behind the globally celebrated Chosen Few DJs collective. His dedication to uplifting the soulful essence of house music continues to inspire new generations of music lovers and producers.



George Pettus Jr., also known as G.P., is a Grammy-nominated and Sports Emmy Award-winning music producer and multi-instrumentalist from Southampton, New York. The son of MCA recording artist Giorge Pettus, George Jr. taught himself multiple instruments and began performing early in life. Over a 25-year career, he has worked with artists like Beyoncé, Chaka Khan, Brian McKnight, and Melba Moore. Now based in Austin, Texas, he serves as Minister of Music at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and performs with All U Need & The Foundation. In recognition of his impact, the city of Austin declared July 18 as "George Pettus Day."
