Spektre's record label, Respekt, presents a boisterous techno EP from Jody 6 who delivers two slamming tracks.

Jody 6 is an Australian artist who is back on Respekt with his second solo EP for the label. Both tracks have an in-your-face sound with hulking synths and hammering drums laying a foundation for powerful vocals that are full of emotion.

Alongside his previous releases on Respekt, Jody 6 has showcased his peak time sound via other imprints such as Alan Fitzpatrick's We Are The Brave, T78's Autektone, A*S*Y*S' Fe Chrome, and Spartaque's Codex Recordings.

He is also a skilled DJ who regularly plays at Australia's best underground events, in addition to international shows in Europe and beyond.

'Keep on Running' opens the release with gritty bass chords playing call and response with intense melody stabs. Soulful vocal phrases add uplifting bursts to the ominous intensity of the backing track. 'Down the Rabbit Hole' fuses a menacing acid line with clanging industrial sounds and angelic vocals. The breakdown is filled with an exhilarating euphoria, then the drums slam back in to deliver the knockout blow.
