Drawing on a diverse range of influences from IDM to dub techno and combining ambient textures with the low-end weight of UK bass, Clima crafts a unique sonic palette that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant.
Building on the groundwork laid by his 2022 self-released EP Losing Phase, Transient State continues Clima’s exploration of layered field recordings, tactile sound design, and processed percussive elements. Each track offers a nuanced interplay between ‘hard’ and ‘soft’ sonic textures—digital percussion is tempered by analogue warmth, and fragmented rhythms find harmony within emotive ambient frameworks.
