SFD087 - Monsters and Demons – The Beckoning – Track notes.
In the height of the Pandemic in 2020 and with the world locked down, a group of House and Techno artists, all dear friends, came together to entertain their fans all around the world and so created a 24 hour live streamed event for Halloween called Cabin In The Woods.
To keep each other safe in this beautiful log cabin in the Northern Californian Lakes, everyone present were required to isolate for 7 days before attending and provide a negative PCR test to participate.
The line-up was Mr.C, Bunny (Rabit In The Moon), Tara Brooks, Dance Spirit, Jon Charnis, Nikita, Navbox, Ron Levy, ISIP, Christian barr and Tatiana Alvarez. The stage set and DJ booth were assembled in the basement, all the artists were in Halloween Costumes and a much needed and very entertaining stream was beamed around the world.
In the spirit of Halloween, it was during these few remote days together at Mr.C teamed up with Robotek Reagan (formerly of Dance Spirit) to create Monsters and Demons and made the track The Beckoning. A haunting and trippy minimal techno masterpiece. Too powerful to be released without being tamed, this incredible piece of music has been locked in the crypt, awaiting it's escape so it can weave it's magic. It's now been fully mastered and is ready to haunt dancefloors all around the world, The Beckoning is to be released on Friday 11th October 2024 on Superfreq.
