Make Or Break

Claire Ripley

Audiomatique continues its journey to the centre of the deep, this time with the highly skilled Claire Ripley at the controls. The talented Miss Ripley has been releasing weapons-grade house and techno for a few years now, both on labels in her home-stomping ground of the UK, and on tastemaker imprints such as Dessous, Highgrade and her own Phobic Records.
'Make or Break' sets out its stall early - high accomplished, atmospheric and driving deep house with an edge. The metallic synths hint at darker, techno influences, while the cut up vocals suggest Claire is not afraid to utilise the euphoric in her productions or DJ sets.
Patrick Chardronnet's remix adds another level of tension to the track, finding a taut groove with a single note riff before the track opens up into a true peak-time monster.
'Little Ray', the third track of the release, sees Ripley getting heads down with the beats - a pulsating tech house bomb with firing percussion and hypnotic synth loops. Another sure-fire winner from Claire Ripley, destined to work magic on discerning dance floors this year.
