For its second release, LESDK presents a new track from Los Angeles based producer and artist Roger Dickies aka Heavyhandz, and features remixes from Rheinzand, Richard Sen and Dennis Kane. With releases on Deeper Shades, Heading Home and Adult Contemporary, Roger Dickies has established himself as a producer who values both the minimal and the deep, he also enjoys a touch of the acid. Taking a break from his visual art and teaching duties, he delivers Cages, a dancefloor excursion into the nocturnal, crisp and rinsed with some cool techno trimming. Belgian dance hero Rheinzand gives the track a Balearic satori remix with nice koto, organ and string accents, a taut melancholy and grace is brought to the proceedings. Our pal Richard Sen delivers two remixes, the first with some haunting keys and his signature deep end of the pool darkness. His second mix is straight acid & drum machine fury, rave to the dancefloor. Rounding out the EP, Dennis Kane brings a cinematic mix that moves, Blade Runner ominous and romantic vibes, with a pulsing chorus, some big moments in the dystopian disco.
