It's been a minute since we had Marco Anzalone on the label. You must return to his 2020 version of "Goosebumps" to pick up one of his GU tunes. Since then, he's been busy; he's become a dad (congrats!) and set up his label (ANZL, check the Rizardo-supported "School Chant" by David Jager for one of its finest releases) and explored a deeper, trackier tech-house sound. We've been following along and waiting for the right cut to champion his new sound. In "Late Nights", we have just that. Tough, quirky and unmistakeably set for the underground club, this is pure 4/4 trackwork at its very best. Raw percussion, rubbery subs and a pumping 909 kick lay the foundations for clever vocal play and scintillating synths. If you enjoy our N2N releases or like to lose yourself in dark basements like Glasgow's Sub Club, this is for you.
